LargeEdit contains two type of highlighter, native and custom. Only the colors of native highlighters can be edited, however, custom highlighters allow you to edit both colors and structure.

LargeEdit providing customizable syntax highlighting for many different programming languages. Highlighters and thier extended functionality can be modifed from the "Options" dialog under the "Tools" menu. If you open a file of an unknown extension and the text isn't highlighted, simple click "Select Highlighter" under the Tools menu and select the highlighter you wish to use.

Native highlighters colors can be modified by using the "Edit Colors" button in the "Options" dialog under the "Files" tab. Custom highlighters will launch the Highlighter Designer window.
