SQLXP SQL Tuning Tutorial
This tutorial shows how to use the SQL Tuning to optimize your SQL statements. 1. Open the SQL Tuning window. 2. Enter your SQL Statement (If using Oracle also enter an ID for your plan). 3. Click the Generate plan button. 4. View the results in Graphical or Text mode. 5. Use the results to find areas of your SQL that need improvement.
